February, the month of love has arrived! So the challenge for this month’s Barista’s Choice competition is for our baristas to pair up and create a drink in that’s all about love.
For Eve and Pam, their source of inspiration was the strange feeling of falling in love, and the excitement and rush of heat that people often experience. They’ve translated this feeling into their drink by combining cold brew with fresh grape juice and homemade ginger ale. This refreshing drink is well-balanced, thanks to the sweet and tartness of the grape juice and the kick of heat from the ginger. For the topping, they’ve added jelly that’s made from ginger water and red grape with grated lemon zest.
