ABOUT THE PRODUCER

“Pangkhon” is a single origin coffee from Pangkhon district, Chiangrai province. This coffee was produced by Beanspire, through a unique processing method called Kenya style wash process. Once the red ripe coffee is picked, the coffee skin is removed and left overnight in a fermentation tank without any water. The next day, the coffee is washed and allowed to ferment in water for 12 hours, then washed and soaked in water for another 12 hours before being dried on raised beds. The extended soaking process helps to reduce bitterness in the cup and adds a fruitiness flavor. This coffee is complex with beautiful flavors of berries and plum. We roast this coffee to preserve all of its natural flavors from the origin, while trying to achieve the perfect balance between acidity and sweetness.
